Yeah, well, what do they know. In honor of our Celtic
brethren from aeons past and in the spirit of fertility and
all that is erotically sacred to the coming of age of the new
year, Our Haven Sanctuary presents a Beltaine festival like
none the Kentuckiana region has seen.
5 days of fun, frolic, festivities, fraternity, and maybe
a little education. It's all right here!
Say you want to frolic in the woods? How about 175 acres
to play in? We have enough to room to satisfy the city
dweller looking for a place to stretch out and the hard-core
naturist alike.
What does Beltaine at Our Haven offer for festivities you
ask? Why then, you've not been to one of our nightly drumming
circles. We'll have some of the finest drummers in the area
so bring your drum or your dancing ... feet, shoes, whatever
... and join right in. You've not seen the firespinners? Oh,
then you must come! We'll also have some of the brightest new
names in musical talent as well as those we've all come to
know and love on sight.
It is well known in the area that you won't stay a
stranger long at Our Haven. It's usually hard to pick out the
first timers because they're welcomed so quickly into the
fold that after just a few hours here, you'll wonder how your
family grew so big overnight!
Alright, so maybe you'd like to learn a few things while
you're here. Hey, you gotta do something during the daylight
hours besides chase kids and butterflies. We have a jambed
packed schedule of educational opportunities and workshops to
keep your brain active while you're here, too. Whether you're
looking for spirited theological discussions, craft
workshops, or just open discussion groups, it's all right
here.
Children 13-17 are HALF the
adult rate and as always children 12 and under are
free with their parent or legal guardian. (Due to the increase in
maitenace costs this has changed effective the 2009 season.)
All Our Haven
sponsered events are clothing optional after 10pm unless
otherwise posted. Read on for details and registration
information.
